VOLUNTOURS

If you’re like us, you enjoy spending quality time in the wilderness. Communing with nature. Seeking out adventures. Exploring new places. Having fun!

Maybe you love the wilderness so much, you’re willing to work a little bit to protect it. That’s the idea behind our VolunTour program. We think there are enough of us out there who want more than just a walk in the woods. If you are someone looking to add a rewarding stewardship experience to your outdoor pursuits this summer, please join us! Here’s what we’ll be doing:

Volunteer on the PCTVolunteer on the Pacific Crest Trail

Hiking with Alaska Wildland Adventures

Coming in 2009: Alaska VolunTour
Our dream VolunTour is a fully guided trip to Alaska with award-winning eco-tour operator Alaska Wildland Adventures. We are currently working with this environmentally active company to produce a vacation that combines natural and cultural history, awe inspiring wildlife viewing, comfortable authentic Alaskan lodging, delicious Alaskan cuisine, hiking, sea kayaking, and sightseeing. As well as a service project that will benefit an Alaska habitat and/or local community.
